First virtual meeting of INGRES on European Intellectual Property Law

On February 1, the Institut für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz INGRES, the most active Swiss association in the field of IP, held its traditional winter meeting on European patent, copyright, trademark and design law virtually. About 70 representatives of the courts, industry, academia and the patent and legal profession from all over Europe were informed and exchanged views on the latest developments by a judge of the German Federal Court of Justice, a judge of the Legal Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office and other experts.

This event was conceived and chaired by Michael Ritscher, and Reinhard Oertli spoke on the most recent decision of the European Court of Justice in copyright law. A report by Louisa Galbraith will soon be published in German in sic! and be made available here in English.
